It is a lengthy e-mail with screenshots provided for clarification. But I will post a summary about it over here.
1. I have 3 test case created inside Library tab (TCM-9, TCM-10, TCM-13).
2. I want to create a test cycle which can be done at Execute tab. So, I click on +Create Test Run called as Cycle Run 1. At Execute tab, I click on Copy to run in order to choose the available test cases (TCM-9) and put inside Cycle Run 1 3. In Cycle Run 1, it will create another copy of TCM-9 which the new ID is TCM-26. Is this correct? On my first thought, when I choose TCM-9 to copy into Cycle Run 1, it only act as a new row of test cases that getting value from TCM-9. 4. How can I manage with similar test cases but with different ID? For example, I will have 4 test cycle of run (Cycle Run 1, Cycle Run 2, Cycle Run 3, Cycle Run 4) and I will export the same test case. So, there will be 4 test case Sign up - As new user with different ID? 5. Once I performed test execution on TCM-26 (set to PASS), the test status is Passed. The test status for TCM-9 is Untested. Shall I treat TCM-9 as original copy of test cases which can be referred as a collection of test case inside Library?
