In case you need to start your test management on the project from the scratch keep reading. This action will remove all entities related to Qarsenal plugin (tests, test-runs, folders, etc). You can NOT revert this action. Qarsenal will be restored to initial state. If you are certain that it's really necessary just follow those simple steps:

Qarsenal Enable

In case your project may not has a Qarsenal test management board (new project, manual deleting a 'Test' issue type) you are able to activate our plugin in Project Administration page. Just follow those simple steps:

  1. Log in as a user with the 'Jira Administrators' global permission.
  2. Open the Cog menu at the top right of your JIRA window and click Projects
  3. Click on a project where you are going to enable Qarsenal
  4. Scroll down to the bottom of the page
  5. Find TEST MANAGEMENT left side menu bar
  6. Click the 'Qarsenal Enable' button
  7. Click the 'Enable' button

Health Check

Bug configuration

Jira itself has only one type of issue designated to represent a failure from the beginning. However your project may use any set of custom issues for this purpose (defects, sub-bugs, UI bugs etc.). In order to give you flexibility in adjusting our plugin to your workflow you can label any Jira issue as 'bug'. Just follow those simple steps:

  1. Log in as a user with the 'JIRA System Administrators' global permission.
  2. Open the Cog menu at the top right of your JIRA window and click Add-ons
  3. Scroll down to the bottom of the page
  4. Find TEST MANAGEMENT left side menu bar
  5. Click the 'Qarsenal Configuration' button
  6. Click the 'Bug configuration'
  7. Select issue(s) from a right column
  8. Press >>
  9. Press the 'Save'

Reset Qarsenal
